Corona arrived in Pakistan in February 2020, with lockdowns, government sanctions and fears of the virus dampening cinemas and theaters. All kinds of shootings were also stopped.

This year, more than 20 films, including Quaid-e-Azam Zinda Bad, Zindagi Tamasha,  london nahi jaon ga and Mula Jutt, have stalled.

Almost all cultural activities including fashion shows, stage plays, cultural programs, exhibitions are stopped.

The process of teaching and learning other arts including music, dance and acting also came to a halt.

Online activity began at the end of the year, with lockdown easing and shootings with Corona SOPs, but cinemas remained completely closed.
